Scripting an exceptional success story in Sales, while working remotely: Bansi Mehta

Mumbai-based Bansi Mehta’s story mirrors that of many other women. Armed with a Management degree in Sales and Marketing, Bansi was working with a credit rating company when she had to take a break after her baby was born. This break stretched on for eight years, as Bansi stayed home to be a part of her growing child’s world. “While I tried to continue with the company on a part time basis, it did not work out as the profile needed me to travel around. With little support at home, I could not leave my daughter behind and so I had to quit.”

Bansi is able to generate customers for her client from scratch, with the leads that she gets from the company through their CRM system.
The understanding of this remote work format on the part of the client with the flexible ecosystem being built by FlexiBees is one of the biggest reasons why Bansi is able to perform so well in her Sales role.   Whatever doubts or problems I face while talking to customers or while getting leads, I know that I can call up my Manager, or even the Director or Head of Department and they would help me out. They are always there on calls especially since they know that I am working remotely and would need support from them.

The fact that Bansi’s profile is the same as that of the people who work from the office, has helped her service her customers, who are all business-to-business (B2B) clients. “ We have a strong telemarketing team and so the work that I do here is the same as the work that is done from the office. Everything is done online and this has helped me a lot since I end customers don’t even feel that I am working from home,” she says.

While Bansi’s journey with the current client is relatively new, she has already become an asset to them by bringing in new customers every day, providing optimum customer service which ensures that escalation of the clients does not occur much when she registers customers.” It has been only one month with this client, but in due course of time, I hope to make a change with my quality customer service and increased sales figures,” Bansi says.
